TROPICAL STORM MERBOK upgraded from TROPICAL DISTURBANCE (LPA) 96W has left the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) and is no longer a threat to the Philippines. However, its associated TROUGHS will bring partly to mostly cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms across WESTERN LUZON particularly along the coastal areas.
Meanwhile, THE REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will have cloudy skies with isolated to scattered rain showers and thunderstorms especially during the afternoon or evening.
**Residents are advised to be on alert for POSSIBLE FLASHFLOODS, LANDSLIDES or LIGHTNING STRIKES during the occurrence of Severe Thunderstorms within the mentioned weather systems.
