Ashfall from the recent eruption of the Mayon volcano has caused several flights to and from the nearby airports in Legazpi and Naga to be cancelled.
These include Cebu Pacific flights from Manila-Legazpi-Manila 5J323 5J324 , 5J325 , 5J326 , 5J327 , and 5J328 .
CEBGO flights from Cebu-Legazpi-Cebu DG6202 , DG6207 , DG6204 , DG6205 , Mnl-Naga-Mnl DG6111 , DG6112 , DG6117 , and DG6118 .
Philippine Airlines flights from Clark-Naga-Clark PR 2961 and PR2962; Clark-Masbate-Clark PR2621 and PR2622 ; Cebu-Legazpi-Cebu PR2927 and PR2928 ; and Manila-Legazpi-Manila PR2921 and RP2922.
According to Civil Aviation Authority of the Philippines (CAAP) Director General, Jim Sydiongco, information regarding activities of Mayon Volcano are the “Volcano Ash Advisory Center (VAAC) in Tokyo, PhilVocs, and Pilot Reports.”
