Singer Dan Reynolds of Imagine Dragons took to social media this week to share his health and fitness journey. He posted a body transformation photo set, showing him before and after he made major lifestyle changes. His caption was even more naked than his shirtless photos, as he wrote candidly about his health struggles and issues that have been plaguing him for years.
He wrote: “I’ve spent a decade fighting an auto immune disease that inflamed my joints (AS). I now live pain free, am in full remission & am the healthiest I’ve ever been. I owe it to Brad Feinberg. Correct diet, vitamins & exercise. I’ll share it all w u soon. It’s been life changing for me.”
He credited just a ‘few months of work’ to helping ‘heal years of pain’. Though he calls his photos a ‘corny exercise post’ on Instagram, fans appreciated the update on their idol’s health and progress. Reynolds had been suffering from an autoimmune disorder, a kind of illness where a person’s autoimmune system attacks their own body. These kinds of conditions often make it incredibly difficult for people to live normal lives, as they have to deal with chronic pain. To hear that Reynolds is now pain free is significant, especially because of the grave nature of these kinds of conditions.
Reynolds also took to Twitter to share the news, tweeting: “just a few months of changing my lifestyle/diet/exercise and have overcome 2 diseases (UC and AS) that have haunted me for 10 years. No more pain. Sorry for the corny exercise posts but when you live in pain for a decade and someone fixes your body it’s nothing short of a miracle.”
Fellow celebrities and friends of Reynolds, such as singer P!nk, were quick to respond and show support.
Congrats @DanReynolds happy for you friend. Glad you’re feeling good ❤🙏

This news comes just two months after Reynolds and his wife Aja Volkman publicly announced their separation. It’s good to see that the time since then has been a positive period for Reynolds.
