For the first time in a long time, the most difficult licensure examinations in the Philippines yielded a 59.06% passing rate – a big difference from its usual 20%-30%. What is even more astonishing, is the fact that the Topnotchers’ List contains examinees mostly from Visayas and Mindanao.

University of San Carlos garnered the 1st, 3rd, 7th and 8th slot while Siliman University secured the 2nd, 9th and 10th spots.

The Philippines Bar Exam consists of eight exams, spread over all four Sundays of November, and is answered with all-essay type questions.

The oath-taking of the 2016 Bar passers will be held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena, on May 22, 2017.

In behalf of your MindaVote and MindaNation family, congratulations to all the new lawyers!
