Clark City, Pampanga — The Premium Point-to-Point (P2P) Bus Service has now reached Pampanga following the launch of the Clark – Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA) and Clark – North EDSA, Quezon City routes today.

Push, Push, Push

On September 15, P2P buses will cater to passengers coming from Clark International Airport going to NAIA-3 and vice versa.  The Clark – NAIA route will have stop overs in Robinson’s Galleria and Resorts World Manila, where passengers may be dropped off or picked up. Another route, Clark – Trinoma in North EDSA and vice-versa, will also be available.

First trip is at 4AM and last trip is at 9PM for both routes. Fare is PHP350 from Clark to NAIA and Resorts World, PHP300 to Robinson’s Galleria, and PHP250 to Trinoma.

In his message during the launching and dedication ceremony in a hotel in Clark Freeport Zone, Department of Transportation Secretary Arthur Tugade said that the P2P bus service is a project that he always felt would improve travel in the country.

“The P2P is a very laudable project that must be pushed, pushed, pushed. We started with just four P2P routes, now we have 12.”

-Secretary Tugade

Moving Forward

The P2P buses will be operated by Genesis Transport Service who will roll out 48 brand-new units to serve the two routes.

The buses are equipped with comfortable reclining seats, Wi-Fi, GPS, CCTV, and other safety features. These features are expected to make the long distance travel from Pampanga to Manila a lot safer and more comfortable.

Meanwhile, DOTr Undersecretary for Road Transport Tim Orbos said that six (6) more routes are targeted to be launched from Clark before the end of the year.

“We will launch 6 more routes this year. These are: Clark to Lubao in Pampanga, Dagupan in Pangasinan, Subic in Zambales, Malolos in Bulacan, Tarlac, and San Jose in Nueva Ecija.”

-Undersecretary Orbos

This is the third and fourth provincial route of the premium P2P bus service, which currently caters to the following routes: North EDSA – Makati, North EDSA – Ortigas, Ortigas – Makati, Alabang – Makati, Fairview – Makati, Alabang – Ortigas, Alabang – Bacoor, and Alabang – Dasmariñas in Cavite.  Joining Sec. Tugade during the launch are DOTr Undersecretary for Road Tim Orbos, Board Members Aileen Lizada and Ronaldo Corpuz of the Land Transportation Franchising and Regulatory Board, Communications Manager of the Clark Development Corporation Noel Tulabut, and Genesis President and General Manager Riza Moises.
