TAIL-END OF A COLD FRONT affecting BATANES & BABUYAN GROUP OF ISLANDS, NORTHERN CAGAYAN & THE NORTHERN PART OF ILOCOS NORTE.  These areas will experience partly to mostly cloudy skies with occasional drizzles and light to moderate rain showers or thunderstorms.

Meanwhile, MUIFA (DANTE) has moved out of the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) this morning and has weakened into a TROPICAL DEPRESSION. As of 11:00 AM today April 28, the center was located some 1,457 km ESE of Basco, Batanes (18.5N 135.7E), with maximum sustained winds of 45 kph near the center and gustiness up to 65 kph.  This depression is not  a threat to the Philippines.

REST OF THE PHILIPPINES will continue to be fine, hot and dry except for afternoon or evening isolated rain showers or thunderstorms in some areas.
