Pet cat saves the day for owner locked outside

Boko the cat comes to the rescue.

Raise your hand if you’re a forgetful person. Can’t remember if you are? You probably are.

For Gabby Tropea, leaving her keys behind almost ruined her day. The student was locked out of her home by her sister and had no way of getting inside. She’d tried the front door (locked) and went around to the back of the house to see if the sliding door was open.

It wasn’t. What could have been her entry point was locked shut with a wooden bar.

Lucky for Tropea, her clever kitty Boko was home.

Tapping on the glass, Tropea was able to call Boko to the rear door. Boko, a brown tabby, seemed really excited to see Gabby since he went right up to the door. After a few more taps, Boco stood on the wooden bar. His weight dislodged it and viola! Tropea was able to get inside.

A video of the amazing kitty feat was posted by Tropea to her Twitter, where it immediately blew up. The video as of this writing has over half a million likes and nearly 150,000 retweets.

If you’ve seen the video, you’ll know why everyone loves it!

Boko was adopted by his fur mom after she found the sickly cat on her college campus.
