Director General of the International Sepaktakraw Federation Abdul Kader said in a press conference on Friday that the Subic Gymnasium is one of the best venues the sport of sepak takraw has ever been alloted in the history of the Southeast Asian Games.
Kader could not hold back his admiration of the newly renovated venue. The Subic Gymnasium was recently given a facade and interior upgrade. These improvements, which were made in time for the 30th SEA Games, surely made all the difference for Kader.
So strong was the impression left by the venue that Kader continued on to say that the was confident that the Philippines’ hosting of the 30th edition of the biennial games would be a success.
Games for Sepak takraw will be played in the Subic gymnasium from December 1-10.
The massive infrastructure undertaking required by our country’s ambitious hosting of the SEA Games was underlined by a very pressing time table which demanded high delivery and not rest. However, as the Games draw near, it’s obvious that the hosting is not just a success, but its set to be the biggest success of SEA Games history!
