A fire in Barangay San Antonio, Quezon City on Tuesday morning affected 150 houses and a total of 450 families. Two people were injured.
The Bureau of Fire Protection said the fire started after 10:13 a.m. and alarm status was raised to fifth alarm 2 hours after at 12:14 p.m. This was eventually escalated to Task Force Bravo at 12:41 p.m.
Fire fighters and Task Force Bravo found it difficult to control the fire due to a faulty fire hydrant and heavy winds.

The fire was declared under control by 3:00 a.m. An initial estimate of P1.5 million in damage to the properties in West Riverside, Santiago St. was pegged by the BFP investigators.
