Netizen Amir Jhon Tingdioco took to Facebook to air his bad blood with his previous employer. The unnamed agency earned Tingdioco’s ire after they issued a laughably meager check to their former employee, meant to be compensation for backpay. The check was for a total of P172.60 pesos.

Tingdioco had worked for the unnamed agency for more than two years, he explained in his post. The check was meant to be for backpay or separation pay.

Asan ang hustisya sa ganitong Agency? For more than 2 years of being Employee nyo itong Separation fee o backpay ko P172? Last time balita ko napa Tulfo kayo then nagbigay kayo ng Backpay sa mga nagresign last year. Ngayon ganito ano to ‘Pasensya na god bless”

May separation fee pang nalalaman P172 lang naman pala. Sana binigay niyo nalang ng sakin ng barya baka maappreciate ko pa. Laking tulong nito sa pamilya ko.

HUMIHINGI PO AKO NG TULONG SA #raffytulfoinaction NA SANA AY MATULUNGAN NIYO PO AKO, ALAM KONG DI LANG AKO ANG NAKAKARANAS NG GANITO SA AGENCY NA ITO. NAWAY BIGYAN NYO PO AKO NG PAGKAKATAON NA MAIPALIWANAG NILA SAKIN NG MAAYOS BAKIT GANITO ANG GINAGAWA NILA SA MGA NAGING EMPLEYADO NILA.

Read Tingdionco’s post to Facebook. He also tagged Raffy Tulfo In Action in his call for justice.

Netizens were obviously enraged for Tingdioco. Several asked questions to clarify whether he left his previous employer with loans, which could possibly explain the small amount. However, Tingdioco claimed that he had never taken any loans from the agency.

Since posting the check, Tingdioco has posted that he was able to settle the issue with the agency and that he had received a proper explanation for the check. He did not disclose this or whether the company gave him additional compensation after he went viral.
